Based in Halifax, West Yorkshire, Woodsage Consulting Ltd offer a nationwide arboricultural consultancy service. Dealing with small to large-scale projects, we endeavour to work collaboratively with our clients, maintaining a service which is personal, cost-effective, reliable, and efficient.

Jack Delaney MICFor - our founder and principal consultant - grew up in the heart of the Pennines, where his passion for the outdoors and nature all started. Jack has worked within the arboricultural industry for over 15 years, within both the private and public sectors; he has gained a wealth of hands-on knowledge and experience along the way, whilst affirming his personal commitment to trees and their management. 

Jack graduated from his foundation degree in Arboriculture with Distinction in 2018. Since then, Jack has worked as an arboricultural consultant within the private sector, and as a tree and woodland inspector for a local authority. It is this diverse career profile has allowed Jack to develop a unique range of skill sets which he is now able to draw upon here at Woodsage Consulting Ltd. Jack is a Chartered Arboriculturalist, and in 2023, was awarded the prestigious Hugh Miller Award for Excellence from the Institute of Chartered Foresters.
